柬埔寨西北部一家赌场酒店在当地时间28日深夜发生大火，火警发生时有400人在里头，已知目前造成至少11死，另有30多人受伤。
综合外媒报道，位于柬埔寨西北部邻近泰国的波别镇（Poipet）一间同时经营饭店与赌场的“钻石城大酒店”，在当地时间28日深夜11点30分发生火警，大火吞噬饭店建筑，许多人逃身不及受困火场，被迫跳楼逃生，至少2人跳楼不幸死亡，建筑内也发现9具遗体。

当地警消透露，这场大火造成至少11人死亡，约30人受伤，“由于搜救行动还没结束，这只是初步的调查报告”，死伤恐再次攀升，这场大火也造成多名泰国公民死伤，泰国沙缴府（Sa Kaeo）州长透露，这起事件中有32名泰国人受伤，被送往泰国当地医院接受治疗，另有1人身亡。
由于泰国赌博非法，许多民众纷纷越境到柬埔寨赌博，波别镇当地已有许多博弈饭店供泰国公民赌博及就业。
