Maybe they should do the same with immigration. I don't understand how we will support the influx of 500k per year when there is already a lack of housing, health care..etc. for Canadians.

The fact is the international students are bringing in HUGE amounts of money for these institutions and the Government itself. They're not going to do anything that'll stop the flow of that money. So these are just empty words.

Canada have to invest and support its own Canadian citizen students , not in foreign student.
