2024年美国小姐于周日（4日）诞生冠军，由来自密歇根州的22岁现役陆军军官库珀（Alma Cooper）击败50名佳丽夺得后冠。库珀有非洲血统，毕业于西点军校。

库珀虽然年轻，但她毕业于西点军校，并且拥有史丹福大学（Stanford University）的数据科学硕士学位。另外，她也是一名现役的军官，军阶为少尉，担任军事情报员。
她表示自己是非裔拉丁裔女性，来自移民家庭。她成为一名陆军军官，正追逐自己的美国梦。
库柏将参加今年稍后在墨西哥举行的2024年环球小姐大赛。
2023年美国小姐沃伊特（Noelia Voigt）于今年5月辞任，她表示美国小姐的工作环境相当恶劣。她表示，形容得好听点就是“就是管理不善”，难听点就是“霸凌和骚扰”。
沃伊特称，她在公开露面时曾经受到性骚扰。
