美国威斯康辛州3岁男童维厄（Elijah Vue），在生母和男友疏于照顾之下，今年2月于双河城（Two Rivers）失踪，直到本月7日有猎人在为狩猎季做准备时，这才意外发现男童遗骸。
据《美联社》报导，维厄生母为31岁女子鲍尔（Katrina Baur），她2月12日将儿子放在39岁男友范恩（Jesse Vang）位于双河城的住处，希望范恩教一教维厄如何成为“男人”。

不过，范恩于2月20日打电话报桉，指称他把男童带到卧室一起小睡一下，没想到过了3个小时醒来后维厄已经不见了，鲍尔和范恩已在桉发后被指控疏忽照顾儿童重罪，但2人皆不愿认罪。

警方本月13日召开的记者会表示，猎人发现男童遗骸的地点，距离他最后出现的地方仅距离3英里（约4.8公里），对于其失踪的详细过程仍有待进一步调查。
