Altough i am not new to canada any more, I cannot agree with you more on your points that new immigrants contribute this country greatly. Being new to new context is not the excuse to be blamed by any people in this environment longer. The core point of this author should not only be given to new immigrants , however, it is helpful for all the canadian on how to protect themselves while they are in front of the policemen. I assume this is his starting point , however, his logic is not that clear , which causes
many misunderstandings from others.

you are absolutely right! Without new immigrants from any corners of this world, the prosperity of canada would be the sandy castle! I review again the points of this author . Frankly speaking, there are many mistakes in his essay which are very easy to defute although in certain sense his points are helpful for us to explore this issue thoroughly.

I think you have good point. However, under democratic system, it is legal for citizen to voice differently even if mainstream viewpoint is dominant , which can be applied to the case of Chinese Head Tax. At that time, it shows from the survey in 24 Metro about public attitude on repay head tax to Chinese most of canadian disagree with the decision of government. But for this case, the author neglects the testable and true evidences to support his arguement so that his point is relatively weak. Meanwhile, to publish the essay of this author indicates the editor of www.51.ca is very mature and skillful in democratic media system since he knows how to operate his forum in democratic society.

No matter in what kinds of societies in this wonderful earth , the basic facts are fundermental things to support the legal system to operate normally. The investigation will provide us with the truth about what happens in that scene so that we can make judegement objectively instead of using imagination. Most and not least, the balance between obeying law and enforcement of law is critical point. I assume there would be a blank point between these two aspects for this case. However, to respect the basic human rights is important as well no matter the subject is new comer to this so called great country or not. Finally, before finding any true facts at that spot scene , nobody should say who is right unintentionally.

法院的宣判你也会看到的，应该你已经知道那4个警察已经停职了，要表现支持你的政府建议你从这个角度表扬他们给4个警察停职是非常英明的，这比你说这个移民就该电要让他们感觉你友善一些，也免得政府人士误会你。
