据世界日报报道，美国流行音乐天后凯蒂佩芮（Katy Perry）今（14）日成为首位进入太空的流行歌手，她与6名女性搭乘航太公司“蓝源”（Blue Origin）的次轨道太空船新谢波德号（New Shepard）火箭前往太空，而整个过程也被直播记录下来。

亚马逊（Amazon）创办人杰夫贝佐斯（Jeff Bezos）旗下公司所开发的火箭，将飞向太空边缘前往距离地球表面超过100公里的卡门线（Karman Line）。其中6名成员除了凯蒂佩芮外，还包括亚马逊（Amazon）创办人贝佐斯（Jeff Bezos）的未婚妻罗伦桑切斯（Lauren Sanchez）、电视新闻记者盖尔金（Gayle King）、电影制片人克莉安·弗林（Kerianne Flynn）、科学家兼民权运动人士阿曼达阮（Amanda Nguyen），以及前NASA火箭科学家艾莎鲍伊（Aisha Bowe）。

据了解，这趟太空之旅时长约10分钟，虽然蓝源公司并未透露需花费多少钱，但估计要价数十万美元。而凯蒂佩芮与伙伴们升空后，座舱会与火箭主体分离，届时她们会使用降落伞辅助返回地球，并降落于西德州沙漠。
