All passengers believed to be safe after NYC plane crash
Everyone aboard a US Airways plane that crashed into the Hudson River off Manhattan on Thursday is believed to have been safely rescued, say authorities from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The plane flew into the river shortly before 4 p.m. after reportedly hitting a flock of birds. It is unclear if there are injuries or exactly how many people were on the flight, which was bound for Charlotte, N.C.
