The fact is that if China continues to add millions of motor vehicles on to the streets, and build factories, infrastructures like crazy, whatever the other countries can do in reducing their emissions will be totally useless.
It's not easy for any country to sacrifice their standard of living and add unbearable financial burden to its people.
If you think making sacrifices is easy, try to open your house for the homeless to live in, ride your bicycle 20 km to work at -10 temperature, handwash all your clothing from now on and beat them to dry instead of using a dryer...
That's why such a conference is futile. The only solution is to let it be, we will all die long before global warming kills us anyway, so what's the problem?
china has overtaken us as a BIGGEST polluter in the world, and denied any future disclosure about its pollution control efforts if there are any...which was promised by themselves before...shame
In other word, if china doesn't consider themselves as a developing country any more for most of time, why we should still accept its execuses when it comes to responsibility and accountability!
china is a semi delveloped country already, as its wishes

排放量应该和人口数及国土面积,发展程度挂钩.
这次会议出发点可疑!

Yes, China has two faces. When it wants to bully other countries or show its muscles, it calls itself rising superpower, with fastest growing GDP, $2 T reserve, 21st century is the China century, blah, blah, blah.
But when China is asked to fulfill its international obligations like doing something on climate change, it says "no, no, no, we are very poor developing country, we need help ourself"
Smart strategy, but don't think other countries are all stupid.
