那个“民主阿婆”并不等同于香港市民这一群体。 在97前的一百多年间，英国人民民主选举出的议员大人们，却通过一部叫做《英皇制诰》的东西，给香港人民送去了一个在香港拥有绝对威权，至尊无上，没有任何香港个人和机构可以制约或者挑战的“总督大人”。陈太曾经在那个体制里边做政务官，她可曾“良心”一下向英国主子要求民主？ 就像“健康”这个概念是个好词，但是如果一个看上去健康状况明显受到鸦片影响的瘾君子向你来兜售“健康食品”，你是否会相信他/她所兜售的“健康食品”的诚意？

回复 骑兵连连长：Before 97, Hong Kong was a British colony run by the Governor General appointed by the British government. Therefore, a colony can never have a democratically elected government. There is no colony in the world that is also a democracy, not a single one, OK? The only option for Hong Kong to have a democratic system before 97 is for it to declare independent, but it was Beijing, not London that did not like this idea. The British have done their best for HongKong, built it into one of the most prosperious, dymatic and free economies in the world. After 97, the Hong Kong people have the right to establish a true democracy and fair election because that's what Beijing promised them.
