The best option for her is to keep a P.R identity since she has already gone so far. It's not worth to give up the P.R, but not necessary to become a citizen. However, it was not a wise decision for her to immigrate to Canada since she has a not bad marriage.
keep PR need to stay in Canada for 2 years out of every 5 year!
放弃移民吧。除非你是穷人或超级富豪。
