What a wonderful story! I was in three hospital in a period of 5 months. I almost know exactly what you are talking about. I also did try to remember the doctors and nurses's names, but faileed. I went back to Toront General to visit the nurses, some of them still there, I personally thanks them. But when I went back to York Central, most of them are gone to another hospital or department. I was told the turn-over is high for the nurses. I got a feeling that these nurses were just enjoy what they do, and they don't really expect anything from us for return.
My experience made me very religioneous, and I believe nurses and doctors are the angels sent by God to save me. Yes, save me, because I could have been dead several times. People from my church who helped me were also increditable. I am enternally grateful for the people who helped, but I have to thank this ultmately God, our Lord, who created all of us, and love us.
We may not be able to thank everyone who helped us, but we can give our help to people who are in need, as a return to those who helped us, as a way to carry on the spirit of caring for one another.
All the best to your recovery, and may God bless you!
Allen
