Actually, I do not think the auther intended to set up an example for any one. She just told a story. She did not expect any body to follow her. She chosed her own life and feel comfortable.
For me, I think my life should be like this: when I am approaching the end of my life, say 5 minutes to go, I would not regret my life, I would have done what I wanted to do.
By the way, most of the so called successfuls are too busy to tell stories here. When they tell a story here, it may be a commercial. 😊 So, 拿着20元左右的工资就开始写感想.

不过感觉既然写出来给别人看，教人得过且过就不太恰当，现在的加拿大大陆华人圈子，仿佛变的都得过且过一般，拿着20元左右的工资就开始写感想...我认为，融入主流并不重要，加拿大的主流观念很多也是错误的，比如重税收下的无为的观念. 重要的是年轻的时候多做点事情，年老的时候安安静静的舒服生活，不要留下遗憾，也不至于天天想当年的感叹.
