The author also pointed out the root cause for some Chinese Canadians calling themselves "bananas", the ultimate product of inferiority, discarding our own cultural heritage and willingly being a second class people below the white. Bananas believe they are white to other peoples of color but are well aware of being different when dealing with the real white people.
I am calling on the Chinese parents to have our kids become proud Chinese Canadians not sickening Banana Canadians, having them speak Chinese at home, learning Chinese contributions to Canada and our 5000 year Chinese cultural heritage.
