Why we still care about the area boundary?! Do Canadian care where you from? Can they tell?!
When we are complaining about discrimination against Chinese, please look at ourselves. We are discriminated our own people.
So ridiculous!

Hong Kong was nothing until many shanghai businessmen went there in late 1940's, here in North America, people from shanghai are generally more successful and well recognized, these are known facts. So keep standing up and feel proud of and let few individuals to worry abour their own future.
So sick and tired to hear people bad mouthing shanghainess, while still keeping going to shanghai< ironically>!
As a matter of fact, there is not many other places in mainland China like shanghai, which is doing its best to accomodate so many people from other places (ever tried going to shen zhen in 80's? you would have to have a speical permit! how selfish was that?!)... So come on, be resonable, do not profile people geographically.
However, if you really can't put up with people of somewhere else, why dont u just stay where u r from, i don't think people, say from shanghai will ever want to move there.
So good luck with the others!
