Yes, I agree: "大家用自己双手挣钱，理直气壮!!!"
My first job was an attendent at gas station. Second job was a packer in factory near Kipning. When I was in School, my classmate's husband told me ( he had a decent job and pay in our minds) that "he wrote an experience of carrying goods on his resume and his interviewer asked where he did his carrying job". After he got that decent position and asked his supervisor (the interviewer) why he asked his carrying goods job. The supervisor said that he just felt curious that he also did that job and usually most of western people do lots of different jobs in their lives.
To be honest, our Chinese comminity talks and concern about “累脖”工 and "白领" too much. According my own 10 years canadian experience, there is no big differences and marks among social classes in Canada. Mostly depends on your own feeling. For example, in my office floor, most of them are much richer than me and also most of them do drive to offices. Most of us enjoy break time together.

而我选了被人看不起的护工专业。“ 啥叫最低级，你的护工又是那一级，别瞧不起劳动人民，大家用自己双手挣钱，理直气壮，多亏

There are always some people feel superior to other people and want to show off here(you can see from their articles). That's why they have negative comments.
I respect the authors for the articles like
"怀念多伦多：一个普通移民的风雨历程"
"我在多伦多的第一个房东和她的一家子"
举双手赞成你的观点，句里行间总觉得自己高人一等，瞧不起别人
。其实是五十步笑百步，她也没爬多高，大家出来混都不容易，用不着这样。

Only one thing I want to discuss with you. You said you can foresee your future in China, I just wonder how can that be?
China is a country where there are tons of oppotunities. How can you foresee what your future will be?
Acutally, in a mature society as Canada, you can really foresee your future. No doubt you can survive here, maybe not that bad, even pretty good. But have you ever tried to think you can be something here? The proficiency of the language, the Asian face..., there is a glass roof over there.
Why those mid-age people in US wanna back? Most of them are living a pretty good life there, handsome pay, big house, luxury car. They just wanna be something. Something they can be proud of, instead of just be a good parent, a good citizen.
We all come to Canada for an easy life or a dream. I really enjoy reading some of the stories that people share experience and the joy of settling down.
