By Tenant and landlord's act, the landlord can charge whatever they want as long as the tenant moves to another new unit even in the same building. The lady can move out if she did not agree with the new price.
The landlord can enter the rental unit for repairing any time as long the landlord gives he/she 24 hours notice without the tenant's consent.
If you feel you are threatened with voilence, call police any time.
Be sure you know the Canadian law whenever you behave. Canada and China is different in law and manners.

房东是人渣!
1、说好了价格就不应该随便涨。
2、虽说装修可以进房间,但也需要征得住客的同意。
3、随随便便就把住客的东西乱放,如果楼主东西丢了可以马上报警。
4、JOHN去机场接人可以收费,但50也太多,最多也就30。而且事先他们已经约定,估计是不用钱。
5、房东随便就可以打骂自己同胞,而且还找了个洋狗来充打手。光这点那些留学生就应该集体进行诉讼。
群众的眼睛是雪亮的,楼上有好些朋友都替房东说好话,估计那些人现在也是房东了,也正在对新移民进行残酷的剥削呢!
You are assuming that every landlord is biased towards landlords. and landlords don't have judgement for this issue.
1. According to the Tenant & Land's Act, tenants have to give 60 days notice to the landlord before moving. You are luck, you only pay $100 including the picking up from the airport, acutally, you may have to two months rent if the unit can not be rented out.
2. When you moved in, you already agreed with the price. Complanation of high price of the rent make you mean.
3. Ontario Tenant &Landlord Act requires tenants to pay the first and the last month rent(two months rent). Please don't mislead the new comers.
