You for got to mention the three Senators , that lost in the last election . These people have made a lopsided Senate in favor of the Conservatives . It is really to bad that we have a Senate in Canada it serves no purpose. This is a position for the PARTY faithful and the dream of every politician to become a Senator. A free job paid for by the TAX payer for 8 years. After the eight years they get a very big pension and the Tax payer pays this, not the government.
Party politics is a very corrupt business in Canada. The Party who wins always takes care of the PARTY people first with some sort of government job. Then maybe after this is done; they may get down too doing something for the Canadian puplic. The Liberal Government when it was in Power was no better . Government in Canada is very old and not in touch with Canada today. I have 62 years experience in Canada poltical scene.
