这是个普遍现象，我老公原来也遇到过这种情况。从那之后他就不去国人中介，一直是去西人中介。现在也总算有一份稳定的工作了。我自己虽然没有去参加工作，但就在昨天自己生活的社区里就碰到特雷人的事。我和我家18个月大的儿子现在几乎天天饭后会去散步，昨晚我儿子趁我不留意跑进一家人的车道了，但只跑进1米左右，就马上被我抱回人行道了。可就这时我听到一个女人打开窗户大声对我们说“Don't Walk into our drivingway". 这户人家是个中国人，而且我们也没有弄坏他们任何东西，小孩只是一不小心踏入而已。然后回她一句你为什么不把你家的车道搞个门关起不就行了吗？后来我用中文骂了几句她竟然也会用中文回骂我呢？后来旁边邻居都走出来了，我就告诉他们这样的事。他们听了之后都摇头，后来这户人家也就马上关起窗户了。怎么会用这样的人呢？我生活这个区中国人本来就少，大家应该更加友好呀。怎么还这个态度呢？反而这个社区的洋人都很热情，每次遇到我们都会跟我打招呼，有小孩还会邀请我们一起玩，还有几个经常请我们喝点东西。说句实话，我不是说所有的华人不好。我身边也有几个很好的华人朋友。但有部分人真不知道是怎么回事，中国人自己都看不起中国人，别国的人还会看得起你吗？身在异乡，自己本国人更应该团结在一起呀

Your 18-months son walked into other's driveway. The lady shouldn't scream to you. If you said:" I am sorry" and walked away with your son, you are decent and have higher level than the lady. You should realise it is your responsibility to keep your son out of other's property.
However, you asked the lady why not put a door on the driveway (it is very ridiculous). then you slanged the lady in Chinese ( it is very very rude). Since she is also low level, she slanged back in Chinese.
Don't understand why you still feel you are better than that lady. You neighbours were shaking head not only for that lady but also for you.

I had the bad story with them. 2 years ago, I was involved in an accident, it was very slight, 20KM/hr driving in snow and my car went to very shallow ditch, no damage at all. after calling 911, I confirmed no body was injured in the accident. 2 years later, I received a letter from a lawyer and I was told that one of the passengers is suing me in the court for damages which is 1M. BTW, the plantiff is a Fujianese who even can not understand Mandarin.
