totally agree with. i have 3 majors: engineering, accounting, insurance. i don't think i work for one profession if i view myself from another major. people must learn to change or else to jump to die.
if you think the profession must have a license or canadian certificate to work with, then most of the s/w programmers are not professions. right?
Why must have 专业工作??? Labour 工作 can be also enough to live here. Most 移民 never have 专业工作 in Canada, according to your meaning, they should be forced to 回国. Only you, the HONOUR, can stay here, enjoy life???
