移民医生就业现状差 究竟是谁之错？

曾经和一个当地人聊过天，当他说信不过中国医生的时候，我非常生气，他反问道：“做为一个中国人，你会找个非洲医生给你看病吗？”，我无语，我想我的回答是：不会。 国内的时候，单位里有医务室，每次去看病，都是小病开点感冒药，消炎药，看不了，转院，有很多大医院医生的水平不敢恭维。 想想我们考大学的时候，什么样的学生报考医学院？这里什么样的成绩才可以报考医学院？ 这里做医生难也是我们生活在这里的一个福分，因为我们会比较放心。如果大家都很容易都做医生的话，我们对看医生有什么感觉？ 中国有好医生，但是太少了。

想说同样的话，因为不是医生说不了这么专业。俺非常知道就是这边的人要做个医生也很不容易，不是上四年医学院就中地。

However I would like to write some thoughts: First, you mentioned the schooling a doctor must complete in North America. We know that professional training is very important, so is that in the countries all over the world. But education or schooling should not be used as a tool to scare people. A doctor's expertise is finally determined by his or her ability to diagnose and manage patients in a caring and timely way. So my point is that education alone can't be an excuse for the systemic exclusion of foreign trained doctors. Secondly, I realize that many people who go for MD program do have a huge debt waiting for them when they finish their school. But indeed, the debt is their own choice, because they anticipate higher salary or reward when they finish their training. How reasonable is that the newly grad MDs demand all the tax payers to take care of their debt and bills?! Besides, if Medicine were turned into somebody's financial motivation, people would only smell money instead of humanity. That would be a disaster for the medical system. Of course I know that talking about morality is ridiculous in North America. But sometimes when dealing with people, especially in healthcare, we do need some principles and give a second thought beyond the material entity we are striving for. Thanks for reading.
