这个网站对输血手术要求严格，它们建议过旅客在远东地区要输血只可以去香港、泰国、新加坡，日本、韩国医疗水平高英语水平低容易产生误会。中国嘛，最好不要输血，血液不安全。

Yes, the insurance company also needs to think about the reason that people don't trust them. There was documentaries show here in Canada that exposed the dark side / fraudulencies of some insurance companies. No wonder people don't trust insurance company.
Well I don't think it is a matter of trust, people that don't buy insurance are usually cheap and want to save a few $. And for this guy who's wife is hospitalized, consider this as an expensive lesson learned .

Yes, it's the lesson to learn, but it's not the right time to learn lesson. I believe he already learned, even we learned the lesson. You / we are all not in the position to judge. Mr. 寿 now is in a dilemma situation all we can do is to wish the miracle appear and his wife getting better.... $50,000, $100,000, $200,000....$1,000,000....money can only be a bit of help in this situation, but not all .... There is no need to buy medical insurance because people always feel lucky about themselves all the time, and then shit happen and they cry. Never mind medical, even car insurance, how many are driving without insurance in the GTA.
