如果你认为对North York用区不具体，可以改用地区或者地方吧？两个极端（最安全和最不安全）都在North York。

多伦多市过去数月却饱受枪击案困扰﹐至今多市已录得28宗凶杀案﹐其中湾景路(Bayview Ave.)以东﹑维多利亚公园路(Victoria Park Ave.)以西﹐士刁路(Steeles Ave.)以南至湖滨区的狭长区域﹐到目前为止﹐仍是零凶杀案。

05到10年的homocide数据the star也map出来了，相比其他大多区域和多伦多市内城区，richmond hill，makrham，aurora，new market，和oakville这几个城市区域里“基本没有homocide“。

多伦多市区内和其他都市一样，人杂，人口密度大，收入差距大（不像以上几个区域几乎整个城区都是中产区域），商业场所集中，所以导致高犯罪率。
但在市区内也是有些很好，相对很安全的区域的，如north york中间地段上的住宅区。

The province's Special Investigations Unit is probing a shooting early Saturday in Richmond Hill.
It happened around 7 a.m. on Palmer Avenue, a residential street near Major MacKenzie Drive East and Bayview Avenue.
A man was taken to Sunnybrook hospital in life-threatening condition.

A mother of three was found dead in her Leaside home Sunday afternoon when police arrived to investigate a missing-person report. Her boyfriend is charged with second-degree murder.
Investigators have not confirmed the names of the victim or the man accused, but family members identified the slain woman as 45-year-old Lisa Lebitka, an interior designer. Police are calling her death the third homicide of the year.
