多伦多TTC大概是发达国唯一的为了保证员工就业而使用落后的生产系统。如改成机械化电脑化，现TTC 1/3 的人就足够了。但有谁能斗胆提这个荐意呢？看看Ford遭遇就明白了。他想裁掉1/2的议员，那些怕丢饭碗的恨不得至他于死地。其它那些被触动利益的也24小时盯着他，Ford寡不敌众啊！
TTC买票卖票检票等早该机械化成序化了，很多国家的地铁早就时行电脑运行了，只需一些维修人员也不会有那么多罢工。TTC养了众多没用的人，每年车费上涨的钱都喂了那些上班睡觉的肥虫,如实行系统化他们的饭碗就砸了，谁提他们就和谁拼命。精明的政客会用大众的钱讨好这些肥虫；他们是最坚定的，最众多的左派支持者。
悲愤的多伦多人没有别的选择but pay up.
我个人比较悲观，我认为过10年TTC还会是现在的样子别管外面的世界多发达。我预言车票会涨到$5.00在5年内。高于股票投资。
