The house price is crazy now, probably all of our kids have to stay with parents in the future as they won't be able to buy their own house. So do not worry nobody will take care of us when we'll be old and cannot take care of ourselves. That's the only one good thing from the high housing price. But pay too much property taxes. For most of people, we only have one, we won't get any benefit from high house price. The Bank and the government will be the beneficial and estate agents, lawyers because they count by % to get money from you if you sale your house

So how do young people buy houses these days? A combination of income at least > 50K + parent's help with the down payment. And if you don't make good $ and your parents are poor then tough luck, life is never meant to be fair.
