While Uganda's president signed a brutal gay-persecution law, two maps came across me. One is the life expectancy of all countries in the world; the other is the most homophobic countries in the world.
Do you notice the high correlation between these two maps? The most homophobic countries' residents have the lowest life expectancy. In a country ruled by cruelty, ignorance and hatred, how can you imagine its residents to be caring, inclusive and happy? A heart filled with darkness and bitterness is too heavy to beat. Not only those persecuted are victims, but also those persecutors themselves are tragic.
You choose to hate; you live a shitty life.
