Sounds like you support every Chinese ever lived on this planet. If so, you should support the author of this article or anybody else who are against 投资移民, because those people are Chinese too. Playing race card just won't work. There are plenty of in-fights among the Jews as well, you don't see them fighting simply because you don't know them well enough.

原先投资移民政策有错确实是错在加拿大政府本身，而不是错在投资移民这个群体。现在这个政策其实就是对原先投资移民政策的一种修正措施。
问题来了。是哪一届政府设计出被文章作者称作为非常滑稽可笑的投资移民项目［The Immigrant Investor Program (IIP)］呢？
查了一下，该项目应该是加拿大 Martin Brian Mulroney 的保守党政府首创。

On February 11, 2014, Economic Action Plan 2014 announced the government’s intent to terminate both the federal Immigrant Investor and Federal Entrepreneur Programs, eliminate a large and longstanding backlog of applications, and pave the way for new pilot programs that will actually meet Canada’s labour market and economic needs.

其实早有经济学家对这个投资移民项目做过很系统的分析和评估，认为这个项目是一个很不错的项目，建议逐步扩大 IIP 项目规模。
The Program should be not only maintained, but expanded. It is financially profitable from a management standpoint, and results in the presence in Canada of thousands of affluent families who significantly contribute to the economy. Moreover, their demographic profile and the integration of the second generation directly contribute to respond positively to our future economic and social challenges. Also, because they still represent only 3% of new immigrants to Canada, their numbers may well be raised substantially;

then they are complainting it's the government tax system fault. When they are collecting $300 / month/child for CCTB they never think about that they are suppose to also need to report their husband/wife who making lots of money in Chinato the Canadian Tax system but they never!! This is considered to lie for benefit!!
