排毒？TTC要在士嘉堡华人区建停车场
多伦多公车局（TTC）打算在士嘉堡华人聚居区McNicoll－Kennedy路口附近建一个停车场，正引起当地居民的热议和反对。
新停车场2016年开始建设，预计2019年完工。这是TTC在多市的第9大停车场，面积为2.6万平方米，室内可存放和维修250辆公交车，包括加长的挂车。
想象一下：几百辆大巴启动，要排出多少油废气？
这一计划引起了不少当地居民的反对。他们认为，停车场来来往往的车辆以及噪音和柴油废气很扰民。新停车场附近有两幢公寓楼、一片镇屋物业、两个养老院、一座学校和一个公共娱乐中心，人口密度很高。
一位不愿意透露姓名的居民担心，车辆会造成附近交通瘫痪，而且噪音和柴油废气会带来健康问题。大型公交车启动时的汽油味很大，即使在Kennedy路西侧，都能闻到柴油味，让人无处可躲。
TTC社区关系经理David Nagler 说，公交官员已经开始谘询社区意见，并且修改了停车场的维护设施。巴士会在停车场的东面加油，屋顶风扇周围装有吸音板，会减少噪音对附近孟尝（Mon Sheong）长期护理中心的影响。
他还强调，这个巴士停车场将提升整个整个城市的公交服务水平，特别是改善士嘉堡的公交服务。虽然对当地社区影响很大，但是TTC会把影响降到最低。
生活服务
看来，居住在高房价的华人聚居区除了成为房奴以外没啥好处。华人太集中而又不团结，很有可能成为西人仇恨攻击的目标。

这也太欠考虑了吧，那里住宅人口密集地带，干嘛建个停车站啊，如果是巴士周转站还更便民些，这样不是污染生活环境吗。
