自由党四华裔候选人 主打教育、交通牌

代表安省自由党参加6月12日省选的四位华裔候选人2日联合举行新闻发布会,介绍安省自由党党纲、未来施政大计,以及解答有关自由党执政期间的疑问等。

陈国治(万锦/于人村选区):2007年当选万锦/于人村选区省议员连任至今,陈国治曾倡导改善医疗保险,包括扩建万锦市多福医院(Markham Stouffville Hospital)、新设两家家庭医疗中心、缩短手术及医疗检测的轮候时间等;打造新一代基础建设,包括新建万锦市中心冰球场、新建万锦泛美体育中心等;增强公共交通,扩建于人村Go火车站、7号公路快速公共汽车线路等;增强教育,扩展全日制幼儿园、开设约克郡教育局亲自学习中心等。

黄素梅(士嘉堡/爱静阁选区):首位入选安省议会的华裔女性,黄素梅倡导士嘉堡地铁工程、医疗保健、教育与儿童健康、降低电费、长者安全维护。黄素梅指出,为了将选区内建设更好,省府将投资公共交通150亿元用来将地铁延展到士嘉堡,而自己的任期内也曾为年轻人创造就业职位、开设专为长者和残障人士的廉租屋单位、从9月开始选区内28所学校都将施行全日制幼儿园。

杨士渟(康山选区):倡导创造就业发展经济,维持具有竞争力的税制,10年投资25亿元建立“就业与繁荣基金”,帮助商业发展;10年投资290亿元建设综合性交通,将地铁延伸到康山市;10年投资1300亿元,建造翻新学校、医院、道路基础建设;建立健全退休金制度;保障公共服务,支持全日制幼儿园,30%学费减免,将汽车保险降低15%等等。

董晗鹏(圣三一/士巴丹拿选区):推动市中心地铁缓解线、完善自行车道和特快公交专线等有效缓解市中心交通阻塞问题;平衡城市规画,让基础建设和公共服务项目赶上城市发展步伐;加强高中生带薪实习项目和职业定位咨询,实现完善养老政策等。

近期民调显示民众对自由党信心明显下降,就如何扶持选民继续对自由党抱有信心,杨士渟表示,省民最关心的教育、交通、健保、就业等问题都是自由党执政重点,以全日制幼儿园为例,康山选区内大多数年轻家庭都受益于此项目,该项目一旦取消,后果不堪设想。

对于自由党此前发生的系列丑闻,董晗鹏则解释为,所谓丑闻,执政党当然有责任,但如果仔细看问题,会发现是源于行政部门,对比之下,党的政策出错会影响更大。

自由党不是反对建地铁吗?还说轻轨最好。陈国治和黄素梅都是反对建地铁的,怎么又变成主打交通牌?这不是搞笑吗?!见过不要脸的,没见过这么不要脸的。真把选民当傻子啊!

在士嘉堡修建地铁与否属于多伦多市议会需要投票决定的事, 安省政府只需根据法律规定承担它所应该承担的资金支持即可。 安省议会投票决定多伦多修不修地铁纯粹是把勺子伸到了多伦多市议会的锅里, 是保守党玩的政治游戏, 所以说那是一个不具备任何意义的投票, 根本不应该作为自由党黄女士不支持士嘉堡修建地铁延长线的证据。反之, 黄素梅自始至终都在支持这项惠民计划。 大家应该还会记得, 2013年7月17日, 多伦多市议会决定了从Kennedy 地铁站到Scarborough Town Center 的轻轨改地铁计划。 第二天, 安省交通厅厅长Murray就代表执政的安省自由党政府宣布了14亿资金支持的决定。 如此高的工作效率, 能说明安省自由党不支持士嘉堡地铁建设吗?? 恰恰相反, 正是由于黄素梅等士嘉堡自由党议员的大力争取, 才使省政府以不到24小时的时间作出了这项重大资金投放决定。 连福特市长都说“If they commitment $1.4 billion in less than 24 hours, I think that is a pretty good start”.
