Hissy fit - an uncontrolled expression of strong emotion and tantrum. I guess his son must have a tough life when he is only 19.

“Rudest doctor I have ever dealt with. Called my Dr. an idiot and had a hissy fit because he didn't have all the info about me that he needed. He didn't allow me to ask questions. He spoke for about 2 minutes then abruptly cut me off when I tried to ask a question. He kept looking at his watch. I had waited 1 year for this appt. and ended up leaving office in tears. "I was sent to Dr Chan for maintenance of my Colitis. He was very degrading, made me feel stupid. Told me thatI did not have the disease even though I had a biopsy through colonoscpy. He sent me home with Pentasa told me to take it if I wanted but I didnt have to. He cut me off in the middle of sentences. He was very rude. I will NOT BE GOING BACK TO HIM OR REFERRING HIM TO ANYONE ELSE!!!! I am currently seeking someone else.Was this rating useful? "Submitted April 10, 2012
"I was referred to Dr. Chan after going to emerg with internalized bleeding, thought to be from an ulcer. i had also been given a 1 month suppy off pantoloc to help. When i went to see Dr. Chan on the 16th of december because i'd had no further bleeding he decided i was fine, without doing an endoscopy and didn't give a refill of pantoloc. Well, christmas day, just over a week later, i started internally bleeding, again and went to emerg where i was referred elsewhere. (they also said that based on my family history alone he should have done an endoscopy) Can't say i'd recommend him.Was this rating useful?" Submitted January 14, 2014"

if so, he is not a good dr, not even a good person either. I heard a lot of stories about Cantonese medical stuffs like this...super rude, not patient, treat their patients like garbage.
My suggestions for certain group: you should think about your yourselves some things, some things are really important to you guys!

Dr Chan and all the staff at his clinic were fantastic. I have read some of the negative comments and I can say nothing but positive remarks about the entire procedure. Lynn at the front desk, the nurses, and Dr Chan with great bedside manner. He explained in detail what was going to take place before the procedure and during. When it was finished he came to me and explained exactly what he saw and what it meant to him. I was able to watch everything on a large screen with his state of the art equipment. This was the first time going through any testing such as this and I would not hesitate recommending Dr Chan, and in years when it time for another colonoscopy I will be hoping to go back to him.
Excellent doctor, excellent clinic! He took his time explaining everything to me both before and after the procedure.
Just had my first colonosopy ever, at Dr. Chan's clinic on Charlotte Street, and the experience was excellent from start to finish! Timely, excellent, knowledgeable, compassionate staff; first rate facilities - it was like a colonoscopy spa! There was an anesthesiologist there on the day of my procedure - I remember being asked to lay on my side, next thing I opened my eyes and they informed me the procedure was almost over; I only got to see the last 20 seconds on the big screen tv, and missed my opportunity to put on the 3D glasses for my "Finding Nemo" experience (seriously!). I was ALMOST sorry when it was over! Not one moment of discomfort, and Dr. Chan filled me with confidence and was very calming before the procedure, and very informative afterwards. Having the procedure done at Dr. Chan's clinic was definitely worth the $100 surcharge over having it done at the hospital.
