Agree. American company will become much more competitive than many Canadian unionized worker concentrated companies. Trump is to cut American company tax rate from 35% to 15%, much lower than Canadian's. American people voted against Obama /Clinton's liberals extremist and they finally realize that under liberals people losing jobs, rich get much richer poor get much poorer, middle class become tax slaves like the middle class people in Canada. Lazy people or refugees suck the blood from them and keep voting for the liberals and their political agenda.

Canada has the equivalent labor and environmental standards as the US, so we are not a country that 'steals' American jobs with cheap labors. America needs diversified energy sources, Trump wants America's allies, like neighbor Canada to be a reliable source of its energy needs. The goal of his energy independence policy is to significantly cut oil and energy imports from the Middle East and other unstable regions like Venezuela. This will create more jobs and investment in North America, and deny funding for terrorists and potential enemies. Also, most of the major energy companies operating in Canada are US companies, our market are so deeply integrated that it's essentially like one country. So the US under Trump will continue to be Canada's best ally and trading partner. However, Trudeau needs to be cooperative, smart and not doing things the alienate ourselves from our best friend.

回复 weinberger：I have watched almost all his campaign speeches. Yes, he did not mention Canada. His selling point to voters are jobs creation/American first/repeal n replace Obamacare/stop refugees pouring in/anti-corruption in government. Trump doesn't buy into climate change or carbon tax stuff. He is the guy to free business from unnecessary regulations. My concern is that our leaders are doing quite opposite to Trump's and many US companies under Trump will eventually move back to US because lower corporate tax rate under Trump and les régulation. Think about that, if Trump can bring back companies from Mexico to US, then why any US company will stay here in Canada where much stricter environmental regulations under way and much higher labor costs than in Mexico?

怎么卖给中国？现在通往太平洋出海口的输油管自由党不让建，运油船也不让进BC海域。原油和其他能源产品根本就运不到中国和其他国际市场。自由党为了减排摆明了就是要掐死加拿大的能源业。川普早就表示要批准 Keystone 输油管工程的，现在是加拿大政府一声不响，或有意阻挠。

Only big China. Climate Change is another political agenda to get elected. Protecting environment in the name of climate change as well as printing massive amount money in debts are all this government be able to do. No job creations for the average grassroot people.
