Dear Ms. Elliott,
I was your supporter and I voted you in the leadership race.
I totally understand how frustrated it could be for a race like this close, and I still believe you are the better leader at this point. I would go even further to support you for a recount should there is adequate time.
However the leadership election is over, the general election is less than three months away.
A court challenge will only drag this process close to the general election and give the liberals a chance of governing for the 5th term.
Can we imagine?
We Ontarians can not afford this risk.
I know you will always put Ontario first, you will always put Ontario PC party first.
For the sake of Ontario and Ontario PC Party, please unite behind Mr. Doug Ford, our new Ontario PC leader.

保守党党领选举计票是一套复杂的系统，选票+选区积分，即一人一票，但是赢了选区有附加分。这么做的初衷是为了小选区（即边远选区）有发言权。
本次选举的结果是Elliott小赢了选票，但是Ford小赢了分数；问题是选票上只有邮编、没有选区号，所以把选票给哪个选区决定谁的附加分多。
看来安省保守党注定多灾多难。
Each of Ontario's 124 ridings will be worth up to 100 electoral votes. If a riding sees fewer than 100 ballots cast, each member's vote in that riding is worth one electoral vote. In a riding with more than 100 votes (that's the vast majority of them), each candidate is awarded electoral votes equal to the percentage of votes they received in the riding.
In other words, regardless of whether a riding has 100 or 1,000 members, a candidate who receives 40 per cent support from that riding gets 40 electoral votes.
This makes some party members worth more than others. Northern Ontario party members living in ridings with fewer than 100 voting members, for example, will find that their ballots weigh many times as much as those cast by people living in some ridings in the Greater Toronto Area, where there are 5,000 or more eligible voters.
去年保守党党领选举 Scheer won 50.95 per cent of points to 49.05 per cent for Bernier. Scheer actually received 53 per cent of all active ballots by the final round, beating Bernier by six percentage points. That gave him an advantage of just over 7,000 votes.
But if just 66 party members in the right ridings had voted for Bernier instead, he would have won.
