左派候选人从上到下都是玩政治正确的，没有一个人TOUCH最令人毛骨悚然的HUGE财政危机. 他们都是花钱的专家，没钱借钱发福利。知道吗，TTC UNION STATION的站台小小扩充，花了整整4年时间！10个亿啊！现在面临多伦多最严峻的问题就是入不敷出，但市级政府按法律是不允许有任何年度赤字的，最近以来房子卖不动，土地转让税收入大减，市政府快转不动了，明年要么大大提高地税，要么砍政府公务员及提前解除contractor的合同（左B是不会碰工会和自己人的contractors)。估计明年很艰难，地税肯定得加房租还得涨。另外从最近国会辩论中，那个多市前警长的土豆新任部长提到庄德利已对联邦保证为所有住酒店的大量非法难民提供永久居所（原话他叫'permanent place')，这一点左B候选人们的意见是绝对一致的。上次庄德利就向自己左B同战线的韦婆要钱，结果被拒，现在福特估计看在120亿省债的严重危机下更得收紧裤腰带了。
根据下面太阳报估计，多伦多已为安置非法难民至今（还在继续花）6500万，而土豆只拨款1100万。
