多伦多11个路口去年车祸最多 华人区这段路高发

根据多伦多交通服务部近期公布了2021年事故最高发的十字路口和道路，这些地方在去年发生的重大车祸及轻微事故最多。

据报道，在Hwy 401与Shepperd Avenue附近的Kingston Road、Port Union Road以及Sheppard Avenue East路口是2021年度发生事故最多的道路，去年一共有12起车祸在这里发生。

McCowan Road这条路上有两个路口也多发事故。McCowan Road与Lawrence Avenue East在去年发生了9宗车祸。位于华人区的McCowan Road和Finch Avenue路口在过去一年也发生了9宗事故，并列排在全市的第二名。

多伦多市内11个事故高发的十字路口分别是：

1. Kingston Road, Port Union Road, Sheppard Avenue East — 12宗

2. McCowan Road, Lawrence Avenue East — 9宗

3. McCowan Road, Finch Avenue East — 9宗

4. York Street, Lakeshore Boulevard West — 8宗

5. Martin Grove Road, Dixon Road — 7宗

6. Bathurst Street, Lake Shore Boulevard West — 7宗

7. Neilson Road, McLevin Avenue — 7宗

8. Lake Shore Boulevard West, Jameson Avenue, Jameson Avenue Gardiner West Ramp — 7宗

9. Markham Road, Sheppard Avenue East — 7宗

10. Albion Road, Islington Avenue — 7宗

11. Wilson Avenue, Jane Street — 7宗

另据多伦多急救部门发布的数据，从2017年至2021年，事故发生的数量明显下降。City Hall Watcher创始人Matt Elliott表示，这种下降主要是因为疫情。

据急救部门通报给市政府的统计，2017年度全市有13,242辆车发生事故，2018年时有13,011辆，2019年再降到12,790辆。

但是到了2020年，发生事故的数量降到了8395辆，2021年减少为8317辆。
