總體來講民主是一個坏的制度，但比較其他制度來看不那麽坏而已。 人類文明有上千年的民主歷史，比如古希臘和羅馬就把民主的弊病演繹得淋漓盡致，民主也在風雨飄搖中挺到現在。 幾千年來，人類走過多少風雨，什麽明君，精英，共產主義，政教合一等等，每一種制度的粉絲都很多，都以救世主的身份出現，但都在很短的時間内對很大的一部分人造成災難。 人類早就想抛棄民主了，但是苦于沒能找到更好的制度而已，沒辦法，大家能忍就忍一點。

好人不一定从来是好人。坏人也不一定无可挽救，非杀不可。抚养一个人长大成人，社会要付出很大的成本，怎么能轻易杀了？ 不杀不足以平民愤，这是中国人的想法。中国也在考虑如何减少死刑，慎杀。
