I support the family reunion and family members immigration. Canada is a multi-culture country, we accept different cultures from different parts of the world. One of many Chinese culture is to have olders living with younger generation, I fully support that they should come to Canada. For the our social benefit, we have already spend billions of the medical and other insurance for our citizens and immigrates. Have few thousand more won't become major finanical problem in the sociaty. I currently donate my computer skill to Ontario Rotary Club, the club spends millions of dollars to bring over kids in foreign country to have heart operation in various hosipital in Toronto. Canada is generous country, one of our culture is to help others. I don't see why we won't help our immigrates' parents with basic medical and social benifits.
However I DO NOT support individual whom sponsors his/her parents to benifit himself/herself include major tax deduction, scam for social allowances or scam for governement housing. I against people abuse our social benifit progams.

I will go on 3.11.
I cry many times when I knew my father have little hope to immigrate canada, my father is 78 years old already and very healthy right now, and I wish one day my father can live with my family when my life getting better. You know living with children can make our parents feel younger, It's good for their life. But insurance company don't accept application for person older than 80 years old, every body knows that it's terrible for people without medical insurance to live canada. I would like to support my parents all theire life but I cannot afford the medical expense.( who dare to say they can afford it?).
on the other hand, I cannot go back to China because of the children, they will have very hard time live in china.
So I have no choice but go to 游行.
夫妻团聚、父母、祖母团聚等等，每一种移民担保，移民部每年都去更新所要求的担保人的收入限制。
政府为什么要每年更新这一个数字的？他们是如何去计算这个数字的？而且父母来加拿大要10年后才可以享受福利，大家想想这个问题先，不要再在这个论坛上胡乱对骂了。这个问题的答案已经解答了我们争论的问题。政府的衡量标准已经说明了问题。
另外，交税是每个市民必要履行的义务，不要以为交了税就好像成了英雄似的了不起。有个别人说：

还有，大家在这里争论的是老人福利的问题，这其实仅仅是一部分因素，政治人物玩弄政策的手段层出不穷，我们整天大喊爱国的时候，也许正成了政治人物手中的棋子。
加拿大是个美好的国家，因为她的制度她的政策，然而执行这些政策制度的过程中出现的问题是非常多的。政策是政策、执行是执行，这不能混在一起谈。
我一再声明的父母团聚移民是加拿大的基本移民政策，这是政策，跟难民移民一样，是代表加拿大人的精神。
关于游行，我问我的一个白人同事：
问：你是否跟我们也去游行？
答：不，因为我只想见到年轻的人来，不想见到老人。
问：那么你反对我们去游行？
答：不，你们做的对。
这里的中国人，什么时候可以做到这个境界???!!!

Totally agree with goleafsgo. My logic is: if I work hard and contribute the tax, definately I would claim my rights.
