To get job needs certain conditions: qualification, language, network, and luck. If you don’t have required qualification, don’t have network's help, don’t have language skills, and lack of luck, the only thing you can do is to find them. Go to school is one way to get some qualification for acceptance.
As Chinese, one suggestion would be to focus on English. This is the most important thing on your job hunting journey. If you can't speak, don't understand, regardless what you know, means nothing to others.
Another suggestion would be to start with entry level job, then you will have chance to show your hard working attitude, knowledge, and talent. The start does not have to match what you are looking for.
Speak English at home, everywhere, anywhere. Don’t speak Chinese. I believe you will never forget Chinese in your life.
