NDP许诺各种福利，但最终还是纳税人出钱，典型的吃大户政策。我不反对保障低收入人群的基本生活，任何人都应该有饭吃，有衣穿，有地方住，生病有医生看，孩子有学上。但想要有更好的生活，就得靠自己的智慧和勤劳了。再多就是养懒人了。
PC给大家减税，给公司减税。可以促进经济，增加就业，促进消费。

我以前也持同你一样的观点，按逻辑似乎认为给公司减税应该促进公司投资，雇佣更多工人。但事情似乎不是我认为的那样, 让我大吃一惊。
一个叫Canadian Centre for Policy Alternative的研究机构，用50年的统计数据（1961-2010）研究，发现给公司减税，并没有刺激公司增加投资。
有些事情真可能不是像我们原来想象的那么简单。

Best to do is the have a majority government, it is the worst choice to have a coalition government, there is no direction for Canada if that happens, and the country is going nowhere.
Have Harper to lead the country, and if he can not do what the Tories claims to do. get him out after his turn. So far, at this moment, Conservative's direction is quite right. Lowering the Tax, creating more job is the first priority. That is the foundation of a country.
The Liberal and NDP, their ideas sound good, but Where do we get the money from? more Tax is obvious.
Bloc Québécois can not represent Canada at all.

Not right, think twice. Even though conservative is not the best, but it worth to choose. The Welfare idea is just an ideal theory, no more than socialism/communism.

That is truth! The NDP support lazy people. They are also the friends of those greedy unions. They try to get those people's vote by please them and spoil them.
Conservative may be seen a little bit of anti-Chinese in some people's eyes, but that is because some chinese government's policies against their values. I don't see any clues that they against Chinese-Canadian who love democracy and be part of Canada. Harper may be a little bit tough in some issues, but that is what a leader should be. You should strong enough to hold your idea and govern a country even that mean your behaviour will bring some criticism. The only thing those oppositive leaders done so far is keep on give out empty promise to please people.
So, I will vote conservative definitely.

What Harper continually fails to see, is he had a minority and if he wins a minority government again, he needs to compromise. The entire election could have been avoided if he compromised. The liberals cannot bring down his government. It requires all opposition parties to bring down a minority government with as many seats as he is expected to win. All he needs to do is satisfy some needs of one opposition party. The NDP requests were pretty straight forward prior to this last election and Harper chose the election over these compromises.
Unfortunately, most people that support Harper want him to rule as a dictator and see no need in compromise.
The people are speaking, there are 4 left of centre parties out there and one way off in the right. The Reform/Alliance/Conservative party still cannot seem to get enough support to form a majority so far. I think that says a lot. If we had one party to the left and split the convervatives up into the reform, the Alliance, the Conservatives and the ???, I bet the center of left party would walk away with a majority hands down.
Proportional representation is required in this country to get rid of strategic voting, and force minority governments into power, and to move towards governance with negotiations and compromise, and respect. All of which Harper is adamantly opposed to.
