CBC News Network on Saturday that Ford still enjoys a 44 per cent approval rating.

LOL, you practically have to get rid of everyone. There were only three votes against striping Ford's power: Rob Ford, Doug Ford and I think was Mamoliti (may not spell right). guess you have no idea what you are talking about. By the way, they vote against Ford just try to get re-elected. They know what they are doing.

Why do they want to go on strike when Ford wanted to give them a raise? And the TTC ticket price keeps going up almost every year, in case you didn't notice. To cut the licence fee, the city need to recoup the revenue loss from somewhere else. Rising TTC fare and more user fees will be norm in the future. I know someone will protest that user fee is not tax. Right, but that is still tax payer's money, and goes to pay the city's operation cost. It's like three in the morning and four in the evening vs. four in the morning and three in the evening. Hope you are smarter than the monkeys, if you understand. This is not saving tax payer's money. It's just making someone pay more to compensate someone else to pay less. This is just to fool the fools.
Taxpayers Coalition says it will attempt to 'force' Toronto to cut council in half
The Toronto Taxpayers Coalition says it will attempt to “force” the city to cut council in half, after Mayor Rob Ford failed in his quest to do the same.
The mayor wants council slashed from 44 councillors to 25, to bring the city more closely in line with federal and provincial ridings. But last month, councillors rejected his plan to study the concept.
The taxpayers group, led by Matthew McGuire, says it will now rely on a “little known clause” in the City of Toronto Act to petition for a reduction in the number of wards. If councillors fail to act, the coalition says it will “bypass city council” and argue the issue at the Ontario Municipal Board.
