It's said the average for Pharmacists is $84765 and there are 155 position, is that for only Ontario or all over canada? I guess this income rate is for Alberta or manotoba, even there you may not making that much if working 40 hours weekly. If you know every year there are around 600 - 700 new registers, so how many of them cannot find a job: 700 - 155 = 545. What's the unemployment rate for that: 545/700 *100=78% It's impossible to get $84765/year as all the position is part time position. Many of the pharmacists working 50 - 60 hours weekly in 2 -3 different pharmacises to make may be $85000, not only 40 hours for $85000 yearly. And when you think about it: if it's 78% unempoyment rate, if you were the boss, are you going to pay that much? When all the pharmacists told their sons/daughters and their friend's kids not to go to this profession, something wrong here.....Good luck for all those pharmacy students, $84765. Just walk in to one of the shoppers drug mart and apply your job as a pharmacists, then you get to know what's in the real life.
