thanks, I got your point and I totally agree with it even your supports are weak.
my point is the hotel's rule is unfair and should be changed, if the hotel is still being run in that way, it will be out of the market soon if there are other competitors..
you thugs missed the point
why nobody tried to be understanding
what if you own that hotel
and somebody broke the tv
and you might not be able to book the room for anybody in about 10 days ---
given the rate of the room a day is about the same as the price of that tv ---
$500, not expensive exactly for a resort room ---
just because you had to buy a new one and setup/adjust/fit the new one into the system network
let alone something more classic you might not be able to match up ---
like --- silverware pretty much identical, and might be even worse ---
losing some potential customers who tried to book the room but failed and ----
bad reputation left to them that they might never be able to find a room available in your hotel
you thugs call yourself coming from a market economy country?

that's not the point either although i can given you many reasons why it might take 10 days.
you checked in a hotel, you signed a contract which you should know what it says
like you buy something it's your own responsibility to know what it is
that's what you do in the market
by the way, how many people had ever broken a hotel tv especially when you behaved yourself?

the point is
there are rules in the market
the rule #1, 'you got what you paid', ideally
and 10x pay for the managed is in that contract, period
in this case, let's assume we took it simple
you were the manager of the hotel and, very unlikely, you got a brand new, exact the same type and same size tv right away
and you took whatever days to set that tv up
you have 10 same type of that setting-up rooms in your hotel
then other one, two, or nine customers taking the same type of rooms coming to you complaining why they didn't get the same new tv in their rooms
how could you explain to them that they paid the same and got different service?
it's you understanding to treat your customer equally and you would rather do --- that's another rule in the market
you should be able to understand, got an exactly 'same' tv is not an easy job, especially that broken tv belongs to those new in many years ago
let's assume, again, you took it to shopping online, going websites like ebay, kijiji or something, where you might have luck to get one
and accidentally, the electric tech of your hotel took his vacation and would be back in two weeks
now, could you tell me how long it would take?
have you heard, 'anything is possible'?
if i were you, i would prefer taking different approach, thought about replacing the tv sets for all those ten same type of setting up rooms, that would be 10x cost of one tvthen nobody is going to complain they paid the same got the different
now, could you tell me how do you really understand 'it costs $5000?
