1月又猛增7万工作 但这个原因让央行举棋不定
近几个月来加拿大职场异常强劲，每月都有好消息。今年也是开门红，净增工作职位近7万份，准确数字是66,800份。不过由于本月进入职场找工的人数大增，导致失业率反而升高0.2个百分点，从去年最后一个月的5.6%升至5.8%。
今年1月亮丽的数字也让经济学家们大跌眼镜：汤普逊-路透（Thomson Reuters Eikon）的分析师们预期今年1月会新增工作8,000份，失业率为5.7%，但实际新增工作数比预期超出很多。
最近5个月来，加拿大的新增职位数都很亮眼，其中9月增63,000份，10月11,200份，11月94,100份，12月则是9,300份。
私企新增工作创历史
联邦统计局的报告称，今年1月份私企新增工作竟高达111,500份，为统计局从1976年开始这个类型的统计以来最大的按月增幅。不过上月自雇职位也大量流失，减少60,700份。
服务业增加99,200份工作，尤其是批发零售业新增职位最多，而产品制造业的工作职位流失严重，净失32,300份。
平均时薪略增 但增幅不大
不过，统计局的专家表示，尽管看起来1月份的数字很亮丽，但也有令人失望的地方，就是雇员平均小时工资增长率仍然不高，只有1.8%，虽然比去年12月1.5％略升，但仍然不到去年5月3.9%的一半。
央行官员坦承：是否加息举棋不定
虽然加拿大央行一直密切关注就业增长，但他们更关心雇员薪资增长水平。原因在于，加拿大家庭债务高企，只有薪资增长了，加拿大人才有能力消化更高的借贷成本。
央行常务副行长 Carolyn Wilkins上周坦承，央行为是否继续加息举棋不定，很大程度上就是考虑到加拿大就业的两面性：一方面是职场强劲，人手短缺，失业率历史最低；另一方面却是雇员的薪资增长太缓慢。
Wilkins认为，雇员的薪资增长上不来与能源大省有关，他们在2014年的油价大跌之后，不仅就业受打击，而且薪资也难以提升起来。不过她表示，央行相信雇员薪资增长迟早会升上来。
两个经济大省就业强劲
联邦统计局的报告显示，两个经济大省就业强劲：安省和魁北克是全国增加工作职位最多的省份，其中安省的失业率略升，从去年12月的5.4%升至5.7%，魁省则进一步下降，从5.5%降至5.4%。
能源大省阿尔伯塔流失工作最严重，是连续两个月的职位减少，失业率也从6.4%升为6.8%：
