质量排行榜 加国造汽车夺魁
四款加拿大生产的汽车和卡车，在昨天公布的一份北美年度汽车质量调查报告中夺魁；通用汽车加国分公司的一家车厂，则在“组装厂”分项中获得质量排名第二的佳绩。
J.D. Power and Associates公司对9万7000名使用新车超过三个月的车主进行调查后，昨日发表最新的年度汽车质量调查报告，其中加拿大车厂生产的本田喜美（Civic）、凌志（Lexus）RX350、庞帝克Grand Prix和雪佛兰Silverado，分别其分项夺得质量最佳美誉。
在小型车中抡元的喜美，是在安省欧立斯顿（Alliston）的加拿大本田公司组装。中型多功能车榜首RX350，则是由安省剑桥（Cambridge）的加拿大丰田汽车制造公司所组装。
安省欧旭华（Oshawa）的通用汽车厂组装的Grand Prix和Silverado，分别在大型车和小皮卡（pickup）类勇夺质量冠军。
在安省组装的丰田Corolla、本田Ridgeline和林肯MKX，亦分别在小型车、中型皮卡和中型多功能车中名列亚军。
预定明年关闭的通用汽车欧旭华二厂，工厂质量在北美排名第二，仅次于刚在上周永久关厂的密西根州福特汽车厂。另有三家加拿大的汽车组装厂，亦挤身北美质量最佳的前15家车厂名单之中。但今年加国业者在上榜数量上，比去年进入前15名的六家稍微退步。
J.D. Power and Associates加拿大分公司执行理事库伯（Richard Cooper）表示，这项调查结果显示，加国车厂不能再继续满足于现况，如果加国要继续吸引投资者注资于其汽车和零件工业，就必须透过顾客的使用经验，来证明加国业者所宣称的制造质量。
Toyota doesn't make good quality.
My new Matrix has lots of problem, Body noisies has been checked by Toyota dealer twice but they couldn't find where
the noisies come from.
Bad paiting quality compare to GM. Compared to GM car, I spend $8000 more but the body quality is worse than GM.
Toyota make good quality that is true if the car was made in Japan and when they first came to North Anerica(they ship the best quality they make to north america). Now the car is made in Canada, it is the same level(generally) as GM FORD and Chrysler. But they sell $6000 to $12000 more than GM.
I will buy a van, GM Uplander is about$18,000, Chrysler Caravan is about$19,000. If I buy Toyota with the same function ABS,AIR bag, power door,A/C. I will have to speed $60% more. That is why We have to know the detail. Don't trust anybody!
People think Lexus 350 is good, You don't know how much profit is inside the car. You don't know how much it worth.
also you don't know if there is quality defects. Let me tell you that The converter had weld cracks for half years(300car/day time half years=44,000 car with weld carcking).
When you buy a car, the most thing you need check is safety,
The light the weight, the higher dealth rate in the accident.(Check US web site), Honda civic has the highest dealth rate in the accident.

I also bouht A SONY High definition TV three years ago.($3500) Now it is very bad in picture(some componenet fail inside). I have to speend $500 to fix it. The worldwide "famous" brand is never better than Chinese TV. So don't trust any famous brand, When you buy something, you have to check and you have to know more details what quality you will buy. ☹️
